About Jennifer

The cat usually has my tongue when I have to write about myself

You would think that being a writer would make introducing myself easy. Somehow, it does the opposite. So, I’ll start with who I am on this rainy London morning.

I’m Jennifer, a B2B content marketer and writer with a slightly unusual idea of fun. I browse G2 reviews to understand why people love, tolerate or abandon particular software.

When I discover a new company, I instinctively investigate its product, market and public footprint, then try to work out who its ideal customers are and what would convince them to buy.

I mentally edit billboards while walking past them and photograph the genuinely good ones.

I care about content people actually care about

Most B2B content does not fail simply because it is AI-generated copy no one wants to read. It fails because there is no compelling reason for anybody to read it.

I approach content differently.

  • It may target a keyword but without saying anything useful.
  • Explain what a company does but without showing why readers should care.
  • Repeat the same claims as every competitor.
  • Or answer a surface-level question while ignoring what the buyer is really trying to decide.

I investigate the audience, product, search landscape, customer feedback and competing arguments before I begin writing. Then I turn what I find into clear, well-researched content that helps people discover a company, understand its value and feel more confident choosing it.

Over the past five years, I have created content for B2B SaaS, fintech and supply-chain brands including Wise, Sage, Inventory Planner by Sage, Hyperproof, Corporate Finance Institute and Extensiv.

My work has contributed to

38.8%

organic traffic growth for Extensiv over six months

60%

website traffic growth and a 13.7% increase in product users for Growrk Remote

60%

of the articles I wrote during the second half of 2024 ranking on page one for their primary keywords

Those results came from more than placing keywords in “naturally”, hey I can do that but I do more by understanding search intent, finding gaps competitors had missed, connecting content to real product value and creating resources worth reading.

Many of my client relationships have lasted for nearly my entire career. I think that says as much about how I work as the traffic figures do.

Where AI fits

I am deeply interested in using AI to remove the repetitive, administrative parts of marketing, not to manufacture more forgettable content.

I build workflows for research, briefing, content monitoring, repurposing and the small professional inconveniences that consume far more time than they should.

BA in Linguistics

University of Benin

MSc in Global Project Management

University of Essex

The linguistics degree helps explain my fascination with language, meaning and how people interpret information. The project management degree helps me turn good ideas into structured programmes that actually get delivered.

Does having a master’s degree make me a flawless project manager? Of course not. But a 94.6% on-time delivery rate suggests I’m doing something right.

If you need someone who can understand a complex product, find the story worth telling and keep the work moving, we should talk.
